Today the girls and I headed up to Oak Glen for a day of yummy lunch, animal visits and apple picking with their grandma (aka Mimi) and great-.grandma. We had a great time - the girls LOVED the small little zoo they had - they were able to feed the animals making it a really new experience!My personal favorite part of the day was the YUMMY apple cider mini-donuts. MMMMM! I could have eaten 2 dozen of them!
Another great part was also the actual picking of the apples. We stopped at a small little family owned farm and filled our bag full of apples that will soon be turned into a delicious apple crisp. I can just smell it now!
